When You’re Tired of Being the One Who Remembers Everything

  🌿 “Sometimes what tires me is not the task itself, but knowing that I am the one who must remember it.” I recognise this kind of tiredness in my own life. I tend to remember almost everything that needs attention—the dates, the follow-ups, the small details and the things that might otherwise be forgotten. Being dependable matters to me, but remembering so much can mean that a responsibility stays with me even when someone else is doing the task. Perhaps you recognise it too. You sit down after a full day, but your thoughts are still moving through what needs attention. An appointment needs booking. A bill is approaching. Something is running low. You need to ask whether a form was submitted or follow up on a conversation that everyone else seems to have moved past.
